FIRST TERM, SECONDCLASS

Introduction to the Air Force (AFS331)

This three (3) unit course is being offered to Second class Aerocadets to equip them with introductory knowledge on the air force, and specifically PAF as one of the Major Services - how it emerged as one branch of service. Further, emerging modern air warfare will also be introduced in this course to equip cadets with necessary SKA as future PAF Officers.

SECOND TERM, SECONDCLASS

Aeronautical Science (AFS332)

This three (3) unit course is being offered to Secondclass Aerocadets to equip them with necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to prepare them as future aviation Student/ Air Force Officer. The course is divided into four (4) modules namely Aviation Physiology, Basic Meteorology, Principles of Flight and Aircraft Systems.

THIRD TERM, SECONDCLASS

Incident Management System (AFS363)

Incident Management Systems is a six (6) unit course which is divided into two phases namely Incident Command System and Basic Life Support and Search and Rescue Training. This course is contributory to the development of one of the Cadet's graduate roles as military professionals and supporters to national development.

FIRST TERM, FIRSTCLASS

Flight Simulator Training (AFS431)

This is a three (3) unit course which sets the unique fundamental concepts that aerocadets should possess as they prepare to become future pilots as one specialization in the Philippine Air Force. This course serves as an introduction to basic contact proficiency flight simulation maneuvers which consist of ground procedures, normal take off procedures, upwind check, level off procedures, level turns, standard traffic pattern, contact proficiency maneuver, basic instrument flying, normal landing and emergency procedures utilizing the three (3) Flight Simulators.

SECOND TERM, FIRSTCLASS

Air Force Management (AFS432)

Air Force Management is a three (3) unit course offered to the Firstclass Aerocadets of PMA which shall serve as an introductory course prior to their posting as junior Officers of PAF. Said course was derived from the modules of Basic Air Force Officers Course which contains two (2) areas namely; communication studies and profession of arms consisting of (3) modules.

THIRD TERM, FIRSTCLASS

Air Force Officer Preparatory Course / On-the-Job Training (AFS463)

Air Force Science (AFS 463) is a six (6) unit course offered to Firstclass Aerocadets of PMA which shall serve as a preparatory course prior to their posting as junior Officers of PAF. Said course was derived from the modules of Basic Air Force Officers Course which contains topics on Air Force leadership, management, and military strategy and air power studies. This course is significant in providing the cadets the fundamental concepts that every BSM MSS Program cadet should possess in the performance of their duties as future Junior Officers of the Philippine Air Force.
