Introduction to the Army (AS331)

Intro to the Army is a three (3) unit course offered to the Second Class Army cadets during the 1st term of every academic year. This course prescribes the basic knowledge and roles of the Philippine Army in the spectrum of military operations in carrying out the AFP's mission.

Warfighting Functions (AS332)

Warfighting Functions is a three (3) unit course offered to the Second Class Army Cadets during the 2nd Term of the Academic Year. The course will build on the foundation provided by the Introduction to Army Operations Course. It will provide an in-depth understanding of how the army operates based on the army warfighting functions and the integration of these capabilities in the combined arms operations. Moreover, it will provide the students with a further appreciation of the application of these warfighting functions through the 1st Brigade Combat Team experience.

Small Unit Tactics (AS363)

Small Unit Tactics (SUT) is a six (6) unit course offered to the 2nd Class Army Cadets during their 3rd Term of the Academic Year. SUT is a training program designed to develop their combat skill, small unit leadership and instructor competency in preparation for their leadership role in the CCAFP and eventually in the Philippine Army. SUT incorporates both the training programs of the Scout Ranger Orientation Course (SROC) offered by FSRR, PA and the Instructor Development Training (IDT) offered by TRADOC, PA. The said programs are delineated as separate modules of the course and facilitated by respective units.The SROC module is designed to develop confident and combat-effective warriors. It aims to equip the students with the basic knowledge and skills of warfighting tactics and small-unit leadership.
On the other hand, the IDT module aims to equip the students or Candidate Instructors with the necessary knowledge, skill and attitude needed to become competent basic instructors.

Platoon Leaders Course (AS431)

Platoon Leaders Course is a three (3) unit course offered to the 1st Class Army Cadets during the 1st term of every Academic Year. This course is divided into three units: Unit 1 - The Infantry Platoon, the basic unit that 2nd lieutenants will be leading after graduation. From this unit, the Army Cadets will be able to learn the basics of an Infantry Platoon; its mission, organization, capabilities and how it prepares for its mission. Unit 2 - Infantry Operation. Battle drills and Platoon TTPs in several scenarios will be discussed in this unit. Lastly, Unit 3 - Army Platoon Leadership in which lessons learned and situations that happened in the field are given to the Army Cadets for them to dissect and gather useful habits that they can practice in the future.

Combined Arms Operations (AS432)

Combined Arms Operations Course is a three (3) unit course offered to the 1st Class Army Cadets during the 2nd term of every Academic Year. This course is divided into three (3) units. Unit 1 delves on the fundamentals of Combined Arms Operations. Unit 2, mission planning will be conducted in platoons following the steps of TLP. Unit 3 delves on the application of Combined Arms Operations through practical exercises.

Army Officer Preparatory Course / On-the-Job Training (AS463)

The Officer Preparatory Course is a six (6) unit course composed of two (2) modules offered to the First Class Army Cadets. The course is designed to enable the First Class Army Cadets to master the Mission Planning Process; and, equip them with the knowledge and skills in Rifle and Pistol Combat Marksmanship, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Close Quarter Battle, and Military Operations in Urban Terrain. Module 1 is a practical exercise applying the concepts of the military planning process. Module 2 provides progressive training in the conduct of urban operations.
