A PMA graduate is a military leader who possesses the basic military competencies of soldiery and the basic preparatory knowledge of his/her major branch of service peculiarities needed in the effective performance of his/her roles in the AFP.
This program is headed by the Commandant of Cadets and is responsible for the professional military training, character development, leadership, and physical training of the cadets. The mission of the Tactics Group is likewise carried out by the tactical officers who are responsible for the different companies of the Cadet Corps. This group is made up of the following departments:
To develop, instruct, and train Aerocadets so that each graduate shall possess the character, basic knowledge, and skills essential to a company grade Air Force Officer.
To train and instruct the cadets on the arts and science of the naval profession and develop their character and leadership traits to become effective officers of the Philippine Navy.
To train the cadets in the art and science of ground warfare and to develop in them the character, basic military knowledge and skills, traits and leadership attributes essential of an effective Philippine Army Officer.
